Functionality: Driver Route planning, worklists for deliveries and pickups, realtime status and event reports and dashboards, deviation handling onsite, scanning barcodes, taking photos or even contactless signing. For hauliers who still deal with paper documents, we can also supply an external portal where they can add delivery notes and status updates (delivery and pick-up) manually.

Kuehne + Nagel Global Overland contacted us in the summer of 2017 with a request for a global solution; one app that could be used across all of Europe. The existing situation was that each country could use their booking system and LMV solution of choice, there was no uniform consolidated solutioncountries. In the winter of 2017 and further in 2018, a number of different proof of concepts were carried out. The solution began being rolled out in 2019, and as of 2022 the solution was live in 20+ countries across Europe.

There are +2000 consecutive Users using the driver app each day, processing in the region of  10M+ shipments per year. The digitalisation of the LMV processes has enabled Kuehne+Nagel to have real-time information available for both their own organization and their customers.The efficient track & trace system gives Kuehne+Nagel a secure shipment transaction, meeting the needs of their groupage business. The driver's day to day work has been simplified by way of an in-app navigation system which directs them from stop to stop, and the management of executing deliveries and collections.
Before implementing Lyns, hours were spent administrational activities such as planning driver trips, collecting paper transport documents, collecting shipment statuses and managing transports via subcontractors. K+N’s staff can now focus on providing added-value activities to their customers.
